Chad Carpenter is CHMD and CEO of Reven Housing REIT, Inc., a public company, (SYM:RVEN) that engages in the acquisition and ownership of portfolios of occupied single-family rental properties in the U.S. Carpenter has been involved in over $2 billion in real estate transactions, has over 26 years’ experience in real estate, and has 20 years of executive experience running public and private companies, as well as real estate funds. Carpenter is also Chairman & CEO of Reven Capital, LLC, a private equity and real estate investment firm. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of investing and capital markets. Prior to Reven Capital, Carpenter spent fifteen years with Equastone, eight years with Business Real Estate Brokerage Company (BRE), and CB Commercial Real Estate Services. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California (BA in Economics) and attended the Harvard University Graduate School of Design “Running a Real Estate Company Program.” In 2005, Carpenter was selected as one of Real Estate Southern California’s “40 Under 40.” In 2007, he was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in San Diego. Carpenter dedicates his time as Chairman of USC’s Marshall Partners San Diego which is a support group for USC’s Marshall Business School.

Joakim Mortensen is Chief Client Officer and Head of Institutional Loans at Colony American Finance, a portfolio company of Colony Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Mortensen was Director of Business Development at LNR Property LLC focused on acquiring commercial real estate loan portfolios and new originations for Auction finance (JV between LNR Property and Auction.com). Prior to that, Mortensen was a Managing Director at Renaissance Companies, an advisory firm to financial institutions and institutional investment firms. Mr. Mortensen has a J.D./M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University, an LL.M from University of Miami, and a J.D. from University of Copenhagen.
